It wasn't a very good day for Chris Kemoeatu and the Steelers' offensive line. Steelers' quarterback Ben Roethlisberger threw 13/25 and was taken down almost a dozen times. He threw for 131 yards and no touchdown passes. Willie Parker, who had 243 yards rushing in the first two games, was held to 20 yards on 13 carries yesterday and averaged just 1.5 yards per carry. Hines Ward only caught the ball 4 times picking up a total of just 34 yards.
The Defense wasn't bad. Safety, Troy Polamalu made a beautiful diving catch for an interception. the play was even challenged but he still got it. other than that, there weren't any huge highlights on defense.
The Eagles played great- I will admit it. They sacked Roethlisberger 8 times that game forcing 2 fumbles for Big Ben as well. they ended up later injuring Roethlisberger's throwing hand on that final sack which brought in second string, Byron Leftwich to finish the game off. He at least attempted to get the game back. The Final score was 15-6. Not a great game for the Steelers.
